Have you grown weary of unwanted and annoying telemarketing calls?  SkyLine/SkyBest is happy to provide a simple solution: Smart Call Manager.  This calling feature effectively screens telemarketing and other unwanted calls, allowing you to answer your phone without frustration.  Previously known as Telemarketer Call Screening, this calling feature has been enhanced to give customers even more comprehensive call screening options.  Read on to learn more about all this feature can provide you.

Telemarketer Screening

With this service, all calls will be screened with an automated voice recording, with the exception of local and local wireless calls. All other callers will hear a message asking telemarketers to hang up and legitimate callers to stay on the line or press 1. You do not have to activate anything for telemarketer call screening to work.

Manually Add Numbers to Your "Known Caller" List

You can manually add phone numbers to your Known Caller list.  Numbers on this list will not hear the telemarketer message when they call, making it a great option for friends and family who live out of state and call often.  Furthermore, private numbers will receive a message informing the caller that his or her caller ID information will be revealed. 

To add phone numbers to your Known Caller list, simply dial *95 to access the service and follow the subsequent voice prompts.

Adding a Number to Your "Blocked Number" List

In addition to adding phone numbers to your Known Caller list, you can also add callers to a Blocked Number list.  If someone calls you and you do not want him or her to be able to call you again, you can simply add the caller's number to your Blocked Number list.  There are two ways to do this:

  • After hanging up, immediately pick up the phone and dial *96 to add that phone number to the list.
  • Dial *95 anytime and follow the voice prompts to add phone numbers to your Blocked Number list. (This feature works the same as our Selective Call Rejection.)

Removing a Number from your Private Blocked Number list

If you decide that certain phone numbers should no longer be blocked from calling you, you can remove the phone number from your Blocked Number list.

To remove a phone number from your Blocked Caller list, dial *95 and follow the subsequent voice prompts.
