Customers who wish to reduce the number of telemarketing calls they receive may add their telephone numbers to the national Do Not Call Registry at no cost. After one month, customers on the Registry should experience a reduction in unwanted calls. To register your home or mobile phone number, call 1-888-382-1222 from the phone you wish to register. For more information, to register by Internet, go to www.DoNotCall.gov.  To file a complaint with Attorney General Roy Cooper, call 1-877-5-NOSCAM (1-877-566-7226).

This does not apply to business and fax numbers. The National Do Not Call Registry is only for personal phone numbers. Business-to-business calls and faxes are not covered by the National Do Not Call Registry.
